Interestingly Creepy

The above link will take you to a video of a Six Flags park near New Orleans that was closed in preparation for Hurricane Katrina. How does a place that is designed to be so entertaining become so instantly creepy the moment you take away any trace of human activity. I kept waiting for something or someone to pop out in this video and scare me, just has that feel to but for whatever reason it was intriguing to me. Seems like a great spot for a zombie apocalypse scene. :)

The link is down already, but I can imagine it would be pretty creepy. There are probably a few explanations for said creepy feeling.

1. We have both played way too much Left 4 Dead 2 and as a result have an unnatural fear of carnivals / amusement parks that have little to no "human" activity. I bet while the video was panning through the park your eyes were automatically scanning for automatic weapons and molotov cocktails lying among the ruins.

2. You don't like big rollercoasters.

3. my computer is dying.

Man, what a great place to play hide and seek! With flashlights of course. That does look like a terror town. Deserted and haunted for sure. Wish I could have seen the pics through the link. WHere do you find this stuff Nate?
